Official German Pavilion featuring 13 exhibitors
Organised by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) and the German trade show specialists fairtrade Messe, the 6th WACEE-West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference (WACEE) takes place from the 07 to 09 November 2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana. For the fourth time, WACEE will feature an official “made in Germany” pavilion.
Another highlight is the 3-day Conference with speakers from politics, business and the renewable energy sectors.
Organised by AHK Ghana and the German trade show specialists fairtrade Messe the 6th WACEE-West African Clean
Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference takes place on 07 to 09 November 2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana.
The event focuses on renewable energy generation, energy efficiency and electrical engineering, environmental technology, waste recycling and water and sewage treatment.
Top Level 3-Day Conference
Prominent speakers and an audience of leaders from politics, business and the renewable energy sector will discuss key issues at a 3-Day Conference under the theme “Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies in the Context of Sustainable Development: Future Challenges and Directions”.
“From our engagement with the stakeholders in the clean energy and waste management sectors in Ghana, we
acknowledged a sincere interest in cleaner energy and proper waste management”, outlines Maximilian Butek, Delegate with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce, AHK Ghana.
“From a Ghanaian perspective, however, even though environment is important, fast development raising the living
standards of the people in both the short and the long term is paramount. The target of WACEE 2017 is two-fold; to
demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of the products and technologies on display, and to show the linkage between the implementation of these products and technologies and Ghana’s and the sub-region’s sustainable development.”
Official German Pavilion with 13 exhibitors
For the fourth time in 2017, WACEE will feature an official “made in Germany” pavilion with 13 exhibitors. The German pavilion is presented by the Federal German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with AUMAAssociation of the German Trade Fair Industry and supported by the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana).
