AfricaOnline launches Jola broadband application in Ghana

AfricaOnline, a telecommunications network has launched a satellite application called Jola broadband to enhance the communication system and allow faster internet throughout the country.

The satellite application would provide broadband internet connectivity to the public across the country and Africa.

Speaking to journalists, the Country Director of Africaonline, Foster Plender explained the importance of the broadband application and said it would make it possible for everyone to access the internet.

He said, the products have been effectively and efficiently tested and tried and was confident that it would provide quality internet services.

About the cost of the product, Plender indicated that it ranges from GHc 300 to GHc 1000 depending on the speed and terms of payment is on monthly basis for 12 months.

“Our connectivity is the fastest and affordable though satellite connectivity is not cheap, we provide the best stuff, even 10 times more than the other products,” he added.

The head of sales and marketing, Rudolf Baah, assured the public of the authenticity and portability of the product which is a 75 metre dish attached to enhance services.

He said the company is partnering with government for the expansion of the satellite system across the country, especially, in remote areas.
