The Aŋlɔ Youth Council deem it an honour to add its voice to the numerous well wishers who stayed awake all night to watch you, a proud son of Aŋlɔ enter the ring to represent Aŋlɔ and Ghana.
Congratulations! What a remarkable accomplishment! Winning a bout after the mandatory 12 rounds against a formidable opponent in the person of Jessie Magdaleno would have been something to brag about, but to win such a contest via a knockout is no mean an achievement!
Well done Isaac Royal Storm Dogboe.
We, at AYC could not have been more proud with your unadulterated cultural display, resilience, tenacity and above all the humility and focus with which you executed the task.
The Aŋlɔ Youth Council and its teeming members are sure there must have been many times when you wanted to give up, or when spending time doing other things may have seemed more attractive than training, but the thought that Aŋlɔ’s pride and Ghana’s rest on your shoulders coupled with your hard work and diligence have certainly paid off. Your victory which has distinguished you, and deservedly so, as the youngest world champion that Ghana has ever produced is not lost on us.
With your sterling and unparalleled focus and hunger for success, we are sure we will be seeing a great deal more of your momentous achievements many years to come. Keep up the good work.
We wish you nothing but the very best in all fields of human endeavour.
