A staunch, if not fanatic member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Appiah Stadium, has charged businessman and younger brother of Ex—President John Dramani Mahama, to be mindful of his activities so as to give break to the continuous mentioning of his brother’s name by the public.
He noted that the activities of the businessman were earning a notorious and bad name for his senior brother as well as himself.
Appiah Stadium made this charge in an interview with NEAT FM’s Akwasi Aboagye on his morning show “Ghana Montie” yesterday morning.
He was reacting to developments at Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua Constituency in the Ashanti Region regarding bauxite exploration there by the President’s businessman brother leading to a misunderstanding between him, the youth and the DCE for the area.
He wondered what at all the President’s brother wanted in this world to warrant him to embark on such a mission at this moment, stating that even some of them, who don’t have a single gutter to desilt for construction will not go hungry. He was however quick to point out that Mr. Mahama did not get a single construction job during the reign of his President Brother.
According to him, nobody has died and carried away with him/her the money he/she acquired while alive. As a result, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama should be mindful of his business activities so as to let his brother’s name rest, now that he is out of power.
Stadium stated, “Today its Mahama, Tomorrow it’s Mahama” a situation that does not auger well for his brother, who is “his somewhere thinking about himself”.
Appiah Stadium further indicated that since some of them want to bring back his brother (JDM) to contest the presidency in 2020, it was high time that he was given the break so as to smoothen his return in the face of the keen competition that awaited him by his own party members like the Spio Garbrah’s.
According to Stadium, the fact that Ibrahim Mahama was the true Biological brother of the President does not mean that he (Ibrahim) loves him more than some of them, stressing that he and others like him like President Mahama too well.
