The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abirem (KEEA) constituency in the Central region, Dr. Samuel Atta Mills, has admonished pupils of Komenda M/A JHS “A” to take their studies seriously so as to make meaningful impact in life.
He urged them to eschew truancy and negative social vices that would inhibit their ability to learn in school.
Dr. Samuel Atta Mills, a younger brother of the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, made this remarks when the school paid a courtesy call on him in Parliament House as part of their excursion tour of Accra.
He admonished them to complement the efforts of their parents and teachers by obeying good instructions.
“Bear in mind that the nation look up to your success in life to undertake greater responsibilities in future.
“Don’t allow peer pressure and youthful exuberance to divert your attention from your studies, be focused to attain the benefit of education,” he told them.
He further admonished them to strive to become responsive adults through obedience to their teachers and elders.
