The Dzorwulu branch of the Baptist Church on Saturday held prayers to dedicate the Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament to God. The occasion marked the 21st graduation ceremony of the Baptist Theological Institute.
In all, six pastors graduated from the Institute and were duly inducted.
The Speaker, recounting his experience with the church and Christianity, urged Ghanaians to put and keep their trust in God. He stressed the need for Ghanaians to remain morally upright in order to see to the development of the country.
The chairman of the Theological Institute Rev. Harold Holdbrock, urged all to put their trust in God and live righteous lives.
Funds were later raised for the construction of a wall around the Baptist Theological Institute (GBTI).
The membership of the board of directors for the institute were introduced.
