Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will leave Ghana on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, for a 5-day working visit to China.
The Vice President is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart as well as the Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Yu Zhengsheng, a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
As part of the visit the two nations would explore cooperation in areas of capacity building, investment, financing and infrastructure development.
Dr Bawumia would also attend the China-Ghana Investment, Production and Capacity Co-operation Forum and meet a number of renowned Chinese financial institutions and entrepreneurs.
