Center discovers Drug to suppress of HIV/AIDS virus

The Chief Executive of Center of Awareness Global Peace Mission, Dr. Samuel Ato Duncan, has said that he has discovered a herbal medicine – COA 72 for the boosting of the immune system and suppressing HIV/AIDS Ritro Viral Infections and Hepatitis. It also cures other chronic diseases. The discovered drug is undergoing further research and testing to ensure its effectiveness and for approval from the regulatory body bodies in Ghana.

He said though the COA 72 has been scientifically tested at various research centers including the Noguchi Memorial and Medical Research, Cape Coast University, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) research departments, Center for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR), it still needs more scientific testing and approval.

He announced this during the official launch of COA FS manufactured by the Center to fight a variety of deadly diseases. It is an immune booster needed by human beings for their general wellbeing.

Dr. Duncan further explained that the COA FS perform as a booster of the immune system and as well  cures many other ailments including cancers, Hepatitis, Ritro Viral infections, diabetes, hypertension, blood related diseases and other chronic diseases.

He said since the existence of the center in 2000 it has undertaken numerous steps to diagnose the cure for HIV/AIDS infection which has led to the discovery of COA 72 that suppress the virus to the minimum.

“Though I am a scientists, I will be like a baby and use the power of God to find the cure for HIV/AIDS for sustainable use, so that Worldwide, HIV/AIDS would be a thing of the past,” he said.

He called on the government, the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) and other relevant agencies to come to the aid of the center in all forms, to scientifically adopt the medicine into the system as a supportive herbal drug for HIV/AIDS infections in the country.

Acting Director-General of GAC, Kyeremeh Atuahene, lauded the center for coming up with such herbal drug that can actively suppresses HIV/AIDS related viruses.

“The cause of the problem is that we do not have enough funding for such development but nevertheless, we decided to play a facilitating role to bring all stakeholders, regulators and the scientific community together to have an independent assessment to achieve that goal,” he stressed.

He announced that the commission has taken a decision to work with various stakeholders within the sector for an independent scientific evaluation that can lead to product development should the drug proves otherwise for cure of HIV/AIDS treatment.

The Director-General indicated that, until approved by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), there is no herbal medicine for the cure of HIV/AIDS. He urged Persons Living With HIV (PLWHIV) to continue to rely on the Anti Ritro Viral medicine (ARV) for the purposes of living a healthy life.
