The curtain was finally drawn on the debate and discussions on the State of the Nation Address in Parliament which had raged on for a couple of weeks.

Today, February 27, 2018, the Minority and Majority leaders rounded up their pros and cons bringing up the merits and demerits of their arguments.

On Thursday, Feb.8, 2018, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in a constitutional requirement gave an address about progress made so far about his successes since assuming power as the Number One gentleman of the land

The majority in Parliament seized the opportunity in the ensuing days to accuse the government of broken or unfulfilled promises, going in for sole sourcing for which they had so much accused the past government and ‘’cleverly’’ increased fuel prices.

The Majority leader, Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu, was full of praises for a government that he claimed was on course, making good its promises especially, and the unbelievable strides in realizing its free SHS dream.
