She said her 29 years at the Bar is a testimony of experience of many years that would enable her to work in such an office.

Madam Lamptey called for the re-imbursement of transport fares of witnesses so that their role in court cases would expedite the process of justice delivery.

She said she had previously worked with the Special Prosecutor, Martin Hamidu, again would be able to cope with his temperament and long hours of work.

Among her achievements was the prosecution of judges and an accountant.

When asked whether she was incorruptible she answered that in the course of years in the service she did not encounter people attempting to bribe her.
