The Legislator for the East Ayawaso Constituency in the Greater Accra Accra Region, Mc Nasser Mahama Toure, has donated about two thousand pieces of mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Candidates in his catchment area.
The donation forms part of the Member of Parliament’s annual excercise to motivate the students anytime their teachers are preparing them for the examination.
Earlier, the MP donated some sets of dual desks to some schools with desks issues
According to the NDC Constituency Chairman for the area, Olabody Williams, who represented the MP, Mc Nasser promised to support those who will excel in the BECE when they gain admission to enter SHS.
In an interview with GhanaNewsonline.com.gh the Circuit Supervisor (CS) in the area, Israel Martei said the move by Mc Nasser will motivate the students to learn hard to pass the examination with ‘flying colours’.
He lauded the promise to made by the Member of Parliament to support those who would make good grades to enter SHS, especially those from poor families.
On his part, Alhaji Ola, East Ayawaso Constituency Chairman, who is seeking a re-election told this Portal in an interview that Mc Nasser has prioritized the education sector in the area immediately he (MP) assumed leadership to represent the constituency in parliament.
He said the MP has supported the education of a lot of people.
