Floyd Mayweather, the American boxer who was expected to visit Ghana from June 15-16 has swerved Ghana in a last minute boycott of his much talked about tour, the ‘undefeated tour’.
The star boxer was expected in Ghana on June 15 from Nigeria but organisers of his tour of Ghana in a post on twitter have announced that his visit has been “postponed till further notice”.
Mayweather was expected to visit the Greater Accra regional house of Chiefs and King of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Organisers of his visit prior to today mentioned that his visit was a tourism booster for Ghana.
