Ghana Premier League: WAFA silences Hearts of Oak with 5-0 win

WAFA recorded their biggest victory in the Ghana Premier League this season after thrashing Hearts of Oak 5-0 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope. Daniel Lomotey scored a brace for the home team with Majeed Ashimeru, Ibrahim Abukari and Abdel Wahab getting the other goals for WAFA.

Great Olympics held Kotoko to a 1-1 stalemate at the Babayara Stadium. David Agordome was on target for Olympics with Saddick Adams getting the equalizer from the spot kick.

Elmina Sharks moved up to 10th  position on the League table after a 2-0 victory over Medeama at the Ndoum Park, thanks to goals from Emmanuel Otoo and Farouk Mohammed.

Elsewhere at the Tamale Utrecht Park, Bolga All Stars and Inter-Allies shared spoils as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Ibrahim Giyasu equalized an own goal scored by Latif Abubakari.

Two goals from Richard Ocran and a goal by Hans Kwofie handed Ashanti Gold a 3-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Lane Clay Stadium.

Ahmed Toure and Wontah Kukuni Hafiz scored to help Bechem United defeat WA All Stars 2-0 at the Nana Gyeabour Park.

Tema Youth and Liberty Proffessional drew 0-0 at the Tema Park.
