Underground budding Ghanaian gospel music artiste, Selassie Nyador Brown, is the headline artiste at this year’s Shabak.
Shabak is an Annual Gospel Music festival that serves as a platform for the Christian Community in The Gambia to lift high the name of God through praises and worship. Among others it serves as an avenue for young Christian youths in that country to showcase their God-given talents.
On the Shabak platform, talented gospel musicians both old and young are discovered and brought together to usher people into an atmosphere of intense worship and praises.
This year the event has a slightly new twist as it sets to make its maiden entry into Senegal.

She would be performing alongside 10 other young and talented gospel artistes from other African countries who have also been booked for the three weeks tour of the two countries.
An elated Selassie Brown told ghananewsonline.com.gh in an interview that she is ready to storm The Gambia and Senegal with all the energy in her to share the sweet word of God through Music.
“I have been rehearsing hard. I am ready for this tour and I know God will use me to glorify His name during this program. Last years’ experience was awesome and I am trusting God to make it better this year,” she stated, adding that “I am excited about the fact that am going out there to share my Ministry with the world. This means everything to me”.
Organizers of the event have described Shabak 2018 as a power packed praise explosion filled with the supernatural presence of God.
