The Global Sky Security Limited, an international technological and private security company has pledged to continue to support the Ghana Police Service to enable it effectively deliver on its mandate to Ghanaians.

The company says one of its main objective is to help the police to cut down crime in the country by about 70% by 2020.

The company said it is determined to bridge the gap of crime solving between Africa and the Western World by using modern technology system and providing well trained professional security officers.

The management of Global Sky Security Limited is planning to donate raincoats to the regional directorates of the Ghana Police Service across the country. This will forms part of the company’s social responsibility and first step in contributing to the development of the country.

At a similar donation ceremony to the Ghana Police Patrol Team, the General Manager of Global Sky Security Limited, Nafisa Leonards, said the exercise by her outfit is to help the Police Officers in carry out their responsibilities effectively and in comfort during this raining season.

“Global Sky Security Limited will not stop here but will make sure there are similar donations to the Ghana Police Service yearly,” she stated, noting that the donation is to make the personnel’s work easier.

Nafisa Leonards commended the Ghana Police Service, especially the patrol team for all the hard work, sacrifices, the dedication and extra mile they go to secure the safety of Ghanaians.

Apart from donating over 200 pieces of raincoats to the Ghana Police Service, the company also plans to provide CCTV to support the Police Administration for effective delivery of service to the nation.

On behalf of the Ghana Police Service, Spt. Joseph Atsu Dzineku, the Director of Operations of the National Patrol Department commended Global Sky Security Limited for their donation.

He called other companies and the general public to assist the police service to effectively discharge its duties.

Supt. Atsu Dzineku also cautioned motorist and other road users to be careful on the roads during the rainy season.
