The Brong Ahafo Regional branch of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), has condemned the sex for grades, fees and other unprofessional conducts allegedly being leveled against some teachers.

Speaking to Goaso based Success FM on the recent revelations of some students of Ejisuman SHS and the sex video of Eduman D/A school head teacher, Mr. Michael Nsiah Agyapong, the Regional Chairman of GNAT said “teachers are caretakers in schools and must lead in exemplary lives, the children are our daughters, take them as your own, though some female students are stubborn, but we must be careful, if you help someone to pay her school fees or feed her, God will reward you, don’t take advantage of somebody’s weakness,” he stated.

He therefore urged the Ghana Education Service (GES) to enforce the laws governing the teaching profession and strengthen the guidance and counseling unit in schools.
