Government is to construct underground sewage systems to provide lasting solution to the perennial flooding across the country.

Speaking during the remembrance service for the June 3 disaster victims in Accra, the Minister of Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Kyea hinted that the decision is to ensure that such disasters do not occur.

Meanwhile, one of the victims who attended the service, Michael Tweneboah said they have been neglected by the authorities which is making life difficult for them.

He therefore called on the authorities to fulfill their promises to them and appealed to philanthropists to come to their aid.
