Gov’t urged to Regulate Postal and Courier Industry

Kenneth Kpedor, the Chief Executive Office (CEO) of Renaizance Group has called on government to put in place sustainable regulatory framework in the postal and courier industry in order to rid the sector of bad nuts.

The CEO of Renaizance Group also made a passionate appealed to government to offer support to players in the delivery sector. The Renaizance Group, GhanaNewsOnline.com.gh has gathered, has a host of companies on its staple including Renaizance Services which is into food delivery and other products.

Renaizance Services, this news portal has established has been in the delivery and distribution business for the past six months and currently has 65 staff on its payroll. It is the leading partner of Jumia Ghana in terms of delivery and has recently signed an agreement with Kokoking to do direct delivery and distribution of its products.

Kpedor told GhanaNewsOnline.com.gh in an interview at the sidelines of the Postal and Courier conference in Accra that, the objective of the conference is to bring all stakeholders in the postal and courier business under one umbrella and brainstorm in order to meet the current needs of the industry.

When it comes to honesty of employees of postal and courier service, Kpedor stated that they had been having challenges with regards to safe delivery of client’s products. He therefore called on officials of Ghana Police Service to come to their aid and help them arrest criminals and fraudsters within the delivery chain.
