A Group calling itself ‘Justice For Justice Movement of Ghana (JFJMG)’ has taken a swipe at the Nana Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, urging the President to ensure justice is offered Mr Ibrahim Mahama, a private businessman and contractor for Exton Cubic Group.
The group alleged that one of the crimes that warrant the Nana Addo led NPP government to pester Ibrahim Mahama in the bid to collapse his business or company in Ghana is because he is a younger brother of former President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement issued in Accra, JFJM wants President Akufo-Addo to understand that Ibrahim Mahama, the younger brother of the former President is not a politician, but a businessman whose brother is a former President of Ghana.
According to the Convener, Adamu Umor, Ibrahim Mahama only supported the brother for his Presidential bid for the second term in the country, which every right thinking person will do.
Alleging, he said the current Honourable Minister of Finance And Economic Planning, owns Databank and many other financial institutions and businesses in Ghana; and he is a brother to the President Akufo-Addo just as many other blooded family fixed in juicy government positions, because they have also helped him (Nana Addo) ran-up to past and immediate past the General elections.
JFJM statement charged the President and the NPP government to be ‘honourable’ enough to allow Ibrahim Mahama and Exton Cubic Group in peace to continue with their businesses as Ghanaians; just as former President John Mahama (JM) left all other Ghanaians including President Nana Addo’s family brothers, Ken Ofori-Atta and others to continue doing business unperturbed.
Mr. Adau Umor stated strongly that JFJM is ready to support the government to fight anybody or company who would want to engage in illegal business.
He was quick to add unequivocally that “so are we, the members of the JFJM ready to face and fight for justice for Ibrahim Mahama anytime, anywhere; and do everything that will bring justice to Ibrahim Mahama (IM); we are ready to protect them, stand by him, move with him and die for him at any given time in Ghana”.
“….Ibrahim Mahama (IM) is a Ghana, will live in Ghana forever, and no government or group of persons or anybody who will want to attack Ibrahim Mahama will not go escort free. Anyone that attacks IM, equally attacks us, and we will not hesitate in paying back that person in his own coin. Legally, Ibrahim Mahama like any other qualifies to do business in the country, especially, in regards to his company, Exton Cubic Group”.
Other members of the Justice For Justice Movement based in Accra include Ahmed Ibrahim – Organizer; Robert Awuni, spokesperson, some pleaded for anonymity for now.
In addition, the Group, Justice For Justice Movement (JFJM) further indicated that the political vindictiveness by the Nana Addo government minting out to Ibrahim Mahama and his Company in the bid to kill the his business, was also as a result of strong envy and jealousy developed against him due to his flourishing businesses.
Hence, the need to cripple him so that he would not be able to grow let alone to support his families when the need arises. That is why Justice For Justice Movement is ready to organise and move from Northern part through to the Southern sector to defend of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, said the Convener.
