Converts Carried Away by Free SHS Policy
According to Elder John from Bebome I he was compelled to take this decision based on the MPs support and assistance to the people, her humility and interactive spirit. He stated that for the past eight years that he played active role in the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) no government official, even from the District Assembly ever set foot in his village.
He pointed out that he was subsequently humbled by the MP’s humility and regular interaction with the people, thereby making them feel as being part of governance.
Also the policy of Free SHS had caught up with not only him, but most people in the district, whose wards, who otherwise would have rusted at home, have now gone to school.
On his part, Brother Odonkor of Bebone East and Secretary to Dade Mantse, he had been carried away by the Free SHS Policy, which he said had helped him and many more, who could not have had their wards seen through Secondary education.
What is more, the MPs interactive spirit and her quick and regular response to the social needs of the people had completed devastated him. To make bad worse, the MPs, regular interactions with the people, a situation, which he said was absent during the NDC era had encouraged him all the more.
According to him, he was brought to the NPP by someone. But ever since he left the NDC and joined the NPP, he has not regretted it. As such he feels good and that he has now become a strong force in the NPP campaign train.
According to the new converts, they had left the NDC with their wives, children and their dependants to join the NPP.

Also, strangely enough, the Cocoa Roads project had found themselves at places such as Osu in Accra and many more, where no cocoa is grown there. Hon. Osei Asare assured the people that she is constantly in contact with the Ministry of Energy to have their nagging problems concerning electricity supply solved once and for all. She also assured those communities that requested cement and roofing sheets for their schools that their request will be considered.
On his part, Kwabena Panin Nkansah told the people that government had put in place a number of social interventions for the betterment of the people. These include the 1 District 1 Factory 1 Village 1 Dam and Planting for Food and Jobs among others.
