A Korean Peace Organization known as Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL) has paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, the Rt. Hon. Prof Mike Aaron Oquaye.
In her remarks, Olga Lee, Coordinator of Department of International Law, Western Busan & Gyeongnam Branch told the Speaker that HWPL is collaborating with the United Nations to reduce tension and achieve world peace. She said they have visited a number of countries seeking support for the endorsement of a Peace charter during the upcoming meeting of the United Nations.
Welcoming his guests, Speaker Mike Oquaye lauded them for seeking peaceful coexistence of the human race.
He said Ghana, at this does not need any Gay rights because the country has economic issues to address than spending precious time on such issues.
He said Ghana will support HWPL in a bid to achieve global peace.
Other members of the group present at the meeting include Ms Rosalino Seo, Regional Coordinator, Western Busan & Geongnam branch and Mr James In, Manager, department of Religion Western Busan & Geongnam.
