KRIF Ghana, dealers in office machines and stationery has donated a security safe also known as Reinforce Office Cabinet (ROC) worth GHc 20,000 to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility support project being offered to some private and public institutions in the country.
The initiative is to support the work of some institutions and to show appreciation to Ghanaians for relying on KRIF Ghana equipment and services.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Executive Director of KRIF Ghana, Susan Awura Adjoa Okosun, said the donation of the security safe introduces a high quality and durable brand security system for the GNA for the safe keeping of valuable documents and items.
She said the company is of strong conviction that their partnership with the media would serve as a catalyst that would trigger rapid development and also ensure well-being of the populace.
“Today’s event is designed to show our support to this media institution for the good work being done for mother Ghana,” she echoed.
She said the portfolio of products and services of KRIF Ghana is not only about traditional office supplies and money handling machines, but also in security safes, vault doors, IT products such as Customer Feedback Systems (CFS) and Queue Management Systems (QMS), among others.
She added, the Diplomat Safe is the most effective and safest solution to protect and preserve important documents and other irreplaceable items against unfortunate events like fire outbreak, theft and robbery.
It also has adjustable interior fittings, shelf for file hanger, pull-out shelf, pull-out drawer and pull-out file hanger which weighs 190 kilogrammes without accessories and 220 kilogrammes with accessories.
The Acting General Manager of the GNA, Kweku Osei Bonsu, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to KRIF Ghana for the donation of the expensive and the equipment.
He assured the donors of their willingness to use the Diplomat safe to the benefit of the organization.
KRIF Ghana, through the introduction of KRIF Corporate Social Responsibility project has taken the initiative to donate some 52 Diplomat Safe machines to both private and public institutions across the country to help them keep important documents and other items properly.
