Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Soulama Abdoulaye is dead

A former goalkeeper of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Soulama Abdoulaye, has died.

The 38-year-old Burkinabe goalie died on Friday, 27 October, 2017 after battling a long ailment.

Soulama played for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League before joining Kotoko’s arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

He is expected to be buried today, Saturday, October 28, 2017 in accordance with Islamic laws.

Soulama was also the goalkeeper for the Burkina Faso national football team.
