A former Organizer for ‘Zongo For Mahama Women’, Comrade Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim has donated a number of Holy Qu’rans to the Mallam Iddrissu Mosque near club 2000 at Amasaman, a suburb of Accra Region. She also donated huge number of plastic kettle (bootah) to the Mosque to be used for ablution in prayers.

Before the donation, she spearheaded the digging of a Well to provide water for the Muslims for their ablutions.

Donating the items, Comrade Marriam Dzifa requested of the Imam of the Mosque, Abdul-Rahaman Mohammed to help pray for Ghana due to the economic hardship and bad governance the country is currently experiencing under the NPP administration.

She also indicated that “since the Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP government took over from the NDC administration this country has known no peace”.

“….the government organised thugs to attack and shot innocent people during Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election”.

Comrade Marriam Dzifa, a Cadre bemoans that this kind of attitude could plunge Ghana into chaos and anarchy and women and children, and other vulnerable people in the country would be those who would suffer most.

She further pointed out that “…..killing of civilians including Journalists,  kidnapping of young children, and strange road accidents that claimed a number of lives including children is alarming under Nana Addo”, to this, she pleaded with Imam Abdul-Rahaman to continue praying for the country.

The Imam, son of the late former Amasaman Zongo chief, Mohammed Iddrissu, commended Comrade Marriam Dzifa Ibrahim for the items; He hinted that about 70 children are studying under him yet, only a few Qur’an are available; and it is the same the Books that people also read in the Mosque.

Mallam Abdul-Rahaman promised to work on Comrade Marriam Dzifa’s request for prayers.
