MP for North Dayi supports dressmaking graduates

In her quest to help reduce the rate of unemployment in the North Dayi District of the Volta region, the honorable Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Dayi constituency, Joycelyn Tetteh, has presented sewing machines to some young women who have successfully completed their apprenticeships in dressmaking.

The gesture according to the MP is to help set them up and begun working on their own as soon as possible.

She noted that the earlier the young graduates began working, the better it will help prevent any more addition to the already precarious unemployment situation in the North Dayi constituency/District and the country as a whole.

Ms Joycelyn Tetteh, challenged the young graduands who have gone through 3 years of training to demonstrate professionalism in their chosen field of work and keep faith with their clients to enable them reap from their labour.

She assured of her commitment to support other youth in the area where possible to gain employment.
