MTN Ghana, the leading telecommunications company in Ghana, has been awarded a gold accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, a demonstration of the business’ commitment to high performance through good people management.
The accreditation is also in line with practices of high performing global companies.
The Head of Investors in People, Paul Devoy said Investors in People Gold Accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success.
Commenting on the award, an elated Human Resources Executive, Mrs. Amma Benneh-Amponsah, indicated that the award is a testament to MTN Ghana’s commitment to creating a great place to work, by investing in our human capital and acknowledging that the hearts and minds of our people are key to their success as a business.
“Our employees will continue to deliver the best customer experience whiles ensuring the benefits of a modern connected life are realized by all,” she intimated.
Mrs. Benneh-Amponsah dedicated the accreditation to all staff of MTN Ghana who have contributed in diverse ways in achieving the goals and ambition of the business.

The telecommunications giant has well-established people practices that promote sustainable improvement and encourage high performance among staff.
The company has an in-house crèche and gym. It also employs the services of an Occupational Therapist for its staff.
Another significant initiative put in place by MTN’s Human Resource is the flexi-hours, where staff get to choose the most convenient time to report to work.
