NDC Chairman for Lower Manya nearly lynched over divisive and tribal comments against Chief Biney

Chief Biney one of the candidates contesting for the NDC deputy Organiser position received a resounding endorsement from delegates and party faithfuls in the Asuogyaman, Upper Manya, Lower Manya and Yilo Krobo constituencies.

Notwithstanding tribal propaganda waged against him by the Lower Manya Constituency Chairman, David Walter, delegates and party folks in the four constituencies hailed in one voice his communication skills and support for the NDC.

The Lower Manya chairman, David Walter allegedly asked party delegates to boycott a meeting between Chief and the executives on the grounds that one of his contestants Kobby Barlon hails from the area. His tribal comments angered the executives who charged on him. Party executives in the constituencies issued a joint statement disassociating themselves from the comment by the Lower Manya Krobo Chairman, describing it as childish, anti-NDC and divisive. They unanimously endorsed Chief and pledged to support him in all endeavours.

Chief Biney has to personally intervened on behalf of the Lower Manya chairman. The chairman later apologised for making what he himself described as reckless and divisive statement.

All the executives who spoke at the place hailed Chief Biney for excellent communication skills and love for party. They went a step further when they put Chief in the league of past great organisers and communicators of the NDC.
