Information gathered by Ghananewsonline.com.gh during the recently held National Democratic Congress (NDC) Women and Youth Organisers Delegates Conference in Accra strongly indicates that one of the Regional Vice Chairman hopeful, Rex Daniel Wussah stands in pole position to win that race.
We found delegates discussing Wussah, a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dangme East/Ada in the Greater Accra Region. They say he has a good message which is attracting the attention of discerning delegates. “He is speaking our language, telling us exactly what we want to hear from him. We will give him the chance to serve this region so he can help the party,” they stated.
Some of the delegates said his message made them reflect a lot and that they have made up their minds to vote for him.
This portal gathered that he Wussah has been telling the delegates among many things that the NDC is a mass party that wants to come back to power and he has the strategy to cause that to happen.
He said many reforms are needed to make the NDC attractive, hence, he is putting in many reform strategies for the region and possibly other adjoining regions to ensure that power is snatched come from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2020.
He proposed expanding the space of communication work for it to look better than the way it is currently; welfare of the party people must be paramount in the region, and the processes of registration and voting in the region must be looked at holistically.
The former Dangme East/Ada DCE in an interview expressed worry that President Nana Akufo-Addo clandestinely removed the Electoral Commission (EC) Boss, to satisfy a campaign promise made to the NPP fraternity.
Mr. Daniel Wussah hinted of plans to make the region to have its own befitting office complex in future among many other logistics.
