New MCE for La Dadekotopon moves to sack NADMO Staff

The newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the La Dadekotopong Municipal Assembly (LaDMA), Gladys TsoTsoo Mann-Dedey, has allegedly assumed the responsibilities of the Interior Minister, threatening to dismiss staff of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to enable her to employ some foot-soldiers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Sources close to The Republic hinted that in her quest to ambush the NADMO staff, based on the dislikes she has developed towards them with the suspicion that they are all members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), she has virtually turned to tormenting them (NADMO staff). For example, last week Thursday, she called for a meeting at 10:00 only to start the said meeting at 8:00am with limited people in attendance.

The source said Gladys TsoTsoo Mann-Dedey, who assumed office quite recently-about two months ago showed little knowledge about how NADMO works. It is alleged that she didn’t even know the ministry under which NADMO operates  until she was schooled that NADMO is under the Interior Ministry.

Although, she was informed that La Dadekotopong NADMO staff, numbering about 76 were zoned among the ten (10) electoral areas of the Municipality to perform their duties; she would not listen but stand by the NPP philosophy and policy of creating unemployment for party faithfuls by sacking existing staffs of public institutions..
