Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that he’s spiritually empowered by his spiritual father prior to playing every match.
According to the Al-Ahli player, it’s important that football players have spritual backing as the game of football itself is a spiritual exercise.
He said he finds nothing wrong with consulting a mallam same as he’ll easily consult a pastor, adding that a section of the public has wrongly demonized Mallams.
“You can’t just rise up and say you’re going to play football because it is a spiritual exercise. You will need spiritual fortitude before you get into play and it’s not just for football but every other work”, Gyan told Delay.
