NPP in frantic race to besmirch Mahama with Menzgold’s NAM1

Our reporters have picked up very credible information that as revelations about the close financial connection between President Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the owner of Menzgold gets clearer to the public and customers, assigns of the government are hard at work to neutralise the increasing media sunshine on the unholy government involvement by roping in the untainted image of former President John Mahama.

Last week a social media activist of the governing NPP called Taryan Tyna Narteh who also uses Naane Ohui Dede went on Google and desperately searched “a picture of Nana Appiah Mensah and Mahama” but drew blank. What Google showed her was separate images of the beleagured owner of Menzgold from that of the former President. Clearly unlike Nana Akufo-Addo who has had several pictures and engagements with the Menzgold owner, no picture of former President Mahama and the gentleman exists.

The lady who engaged in the desperate attempt to associate Mr Mahama with the individual backfired when a screenshot of the search was taken by her and shared on Facebook without cutting off the address bar.

A day after that fiasco the NPP media machinery staged another fake comment purporting to be from former President Mahama to the beleagured Menzgold owner. That too has been exposed as fake.

It is now evident with the foregoing that the governing NPP is desperately seeking to besmirch President Mahama with anything, even if remote, to deceive Ghanaians that President Akufo-Addo was not the only person who associated with Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM).

The next stunt to salvage President Akufo-Addo by smearing President Mahama may be on the governing NPP’s drawing board as this article goes to press.
