The National Union of Ghana students (NUGS) on the 8th January 2019 honored an invitation from its sister country’s students movement (La Cote d’ivoire) Student Union to share ideas on issues affecting students movement in both countries and how they could rally support for each other to serve the interests of both Unions.
The team was led by the International Relations Secretary, who was accompanied by The President of the union, Mr. Mohammed Sadiq Gombilla, The President of The Ivorian Students in Ghana and his personal assistant.
On arrival, the 52nd NUGS executives were received and welcomed by the President of la Federation Estudiantine Et Scolaire de Côte d’Ivoire (FESCI) who doubles as the General Secretary for la Confederation Estudiantine et Scolaire D’Afrique(CESA), the Vice President of FESCI, the General Secretary of FESCI, the Academic Secretary of FESCI and a former President of Benin National Student Union who was also in attendance.
The President of Federation Estudiantine Et Scolaire de Côte d’Ivoire (FESCI) Mr. Assi Fulgeuce Assi expressed joy for the honor given his invitation by NUGS.
The four (4) days visit is aimed at strengthening the bond of friendship and the working relationship between both Unions.
