A three-day orientation workshop for Council of State Members has opened in Aburi, Eastern Region and expected to end on Friday.

The workshop among other things, is aimed at acquainting Council of State members on their office, equip them with the requisite knowledge skills and attitude needed to discharge their mandate.

The orientation is expected to bring together accomplished retired Public Servants, Technocrats and some astute political head of state institutions.

Topics for consideration cover issue like Governance and the Role of Council of State, Public/Civil Services structures and responsibilities, Constitutional Mandate of Council of State, Decentralization, and National Security.
