Founder and General Overseers of Funmi Tayo Ajimoko Ministry, Pastor Mrs. Funmi Tayo-Ajimoko has urged prisoners in the country not to be discouraged by their present conditions since no condition is permanent.
“Do no be discouraged because you are today serving a prison sentence, rather pray to God to have mercy on you to cause change in your life so you will not engage yourself in situations that brought you here. Note that no condition is permanent, so you will surely leave this place one day,” she noted.
Pastor Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko was addressing inmates of the Koforidua prisons when her Ministry Funmi Yaro Ajumoko Ministry visited the facility to make a donation for the improvement of the standards of living of the inmates.
Mrs Yaro-Ajimoko who has since 2011 been making donation to several agencies in the country once again donated items such as sponge, towels, second hand clothes, assorted soaps, washing powder, different kind of local meals, assorted drinks, among others all worth about Ghs 20,000.00. She said she only works by the direction of the holy Spirit.
She advised that government to go into the files of the inmates again because she believes most of them are there due to false accusations. She urged the government to fast track investigations to free those who have been falsely accused.
Pastor Funmi Tayo-Ajumoko lamenting on the hell prisoners are going through urged government to revamp the prisons, by providing adequate infrastructure to house the inmates, because too much heat can cause disease.
Receiving the items on behalf of the prisoners, ADP Joseph Asabere who is the second in command at Koforidua Prisons expressed his appreciation to Mrs. Funmi and also used the opportunity to call on stakeholders in the country to come to their aid just as Mrs Funmi and her Ministry has done.
