Prof Joshua Alabi in collaboration with an Islamic Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) -‘Direct Aid’, commissioned a magnificent Mosque at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) for the Moslem students on campus.

The Mosque is also expected to benefit all Muslim communities within and around the school.

Alabi, charged politicians in the country to emulate the example of ‘Direct Aid’ by giving credit to whom credit is due, instead of the situation where new regimes strive to destroy the achievements of former regimes.

He commended the engineers and the Muslim community/Umar for ensuring a very good use of the space of land given for the project. He described the structure as “magnificent” and appealed to the Moslem Community to maintain and keep it in good shape always.

Prof. Joshua Alabi saluted ‘Direct Aid’ for the financial support in executing the project. He implored the students to pray for UPSA to grow bigger than it is now and to remember him in their prayers, as he made clear his intentions to lead the opposition NDC.
