Watch out for this year’s biggest Christmas evening event – JUMIA’s Black Friday Festival; as pamper its customers with exciting discounts for shopping.

According to the Managing Director (MD) of the company, Mr. Ore Odusanyo, promised customers will feel special every three weeks ahead of the Christmas, and delivery will be made to the customer at his/her location.

Speaking with the media in Accra, he explained that the ‘Black Friday’ is an unofficial holiday that started in the United States in 1952. “It is a day where most major retailers open offers for promotional sales”, the MD stated.

He said “the presence of overcrowding in US shops led to many injured with some others losing their lives hence the term ‘Black’”.

This he said Jumia deemed it necessary to also offer Ghanaians attractive discounts for their flagship products ahead of the Christmas, to give more people the opportunity to get all the stuffs they want for the season.

Jumia Black Friday festival season promises to ‘wow’ all customers to an exciting shopping experience as well as treating its customers to amazing quality products at discounted prices. This deal includes everything one could find ranging from fashion to electronics, from brands like Motorola, Infinix, Nasco, Nexus, Fero, Samsung, HP, Hotwav, Binatone, Chigo, Maybelline, Hanes, Darling and Grandeur.

As of last week, customers were already enjoying discount on Early Black Friday Sales on items such as Fero 1100 smart phones, Protech and Nexus 110 litre fridges, Moto c plus phone, Nasco blenders and 32inches Nasco smart TVs.

These items were on high demand as shoppers enjoyed cheaper prices on them even before the commencement of Black Friday.
