Lots of Ghanaians have expressed worry at the consistent criminal activities experienced over the past year and i personally share in their grief since it is completely uncalled for.

Starting from political vigilantism, there have been cases of violent chieftaincy cases, heinous murder incidents as well as mob injustice leading to the death of many innocent souls.

The current to trend now is the consistent shooting and killings of security personnels supposed to protect lives and properties with the recent being the attack on the Kwabenya police station killing a Corp.

Even though the country can boast of Ministers of Interior, Defence, and National security as well as the IGP and the BNI, it seems their performance is not out coming the growing criminal cases.

Mean while, i personally and some top security analysts are questioning the performance of the IGP, therefore demanding for his replacement with COP Kofi Boakye, the embattled Commander One.

Having achieved higher level of record and experience in fighting crime in the country, there is no doubt he is capable of dealing with the current insecurity we face as a country.

He is also known for maintaining law and order in the Ashanti region when there was total disorder but has put in change of Workshop which is weird to me.

How can we have peace as a country if the right people are not put at the right places or is it that politics is taking over the activities of our security?

God save us, God bless Ghana.
