The Land Surveying Division of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GHIS), will on September 6 and 7, hold its 2018 edition of their Annual Seminar in the Volta Regional capital Ho.
The two day event which is scheduled to take place at the Sky Plus Hotel is on the theme “Land Surveying and Mapping: The Critical Foundation to National Infrastructural Development in Ghana”
According to a statement issued by the GHIS Secretariat in Accra, the seminar which is going beyond Accra for the first time promises to be a great encounter between the young and seasoned professionals in the land surveying and Mapping fraternity who will provide great insight on the theme.
The statement said Mr Francis Manu-Adabor, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ahafo Ano South-East Constituency in the Ashanti Region and Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Lands and Forestry will deliver the keynote address.
In attendance will be Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister and Togbe Afede XIV, President of the National House of Chiefs and the Paramount Chief of Asogli Traditional Area.
