Aspirants to Executive positions of the Students Representative Council (SRC) at the College of Health in Kintampo (COHK) in this year’s elections have expressed their gross disappointment in the school’s electoral commission for initiating plans to use electronic voting instead of manual.

According the aspirants in a petition sited by ghananewonline.com.gh, they do not believe in the quality of the software to be used as well as its authenticity to carry out the elections since the same software has failed before.

Spokesperson for the group (who doesn’t want his name mentioned) told this website that they suspect foul play by the EC and the SRC Executives to favor their favorites and for that matter they will resist any attempt to impose Electronic voting on them. They prefer the manual voting.

They therefore call on the school Authorities to intervene immediately in other to avoid any future misunderstanding after the election.
