Ghana newboy William Owusu Acheampong snatched a late equalizer for Royal Antwerp in their 1-1 draw at Anderlect on Sunday in the Belgian top-flight.

The 28-year-old headed in the leveller in stoppage time with Lior Refaelov providing a fine assist.

Owusu has now scored in back-to-back matches to tally three goals in seven appearances.

Pieter Gerkens put Anderlecht in front after just 17 minutes at the Constant Vanden Stock.

Owusu and teammate Daniel Opare will fly out to join Ghana’s squad for next Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya in Nairbo.
