2024 Election: Solomon Kunyo vows to Retain Krachi Nchumuru Seat for NDC

Honorable Solomon Kuyon, the Member of Parliament for Krachi Nchumuru constituency, has officially filed his nomination forms at the Electoral Commission’s District Office in Chinderi, Oti Region, to contest the upcoming 2024 elections.

His submission was accompanied by a large crowd of party supporters and sympathizers, who rallied behind him as a show of solidarity.

Addressing the gathering after submitting his forms, Hon. Kuyon recalled his initial victory as a former District Chief Executive, attributing his success to the unwavering support of his constituents and the collaborative efforts of the party executives.

He expressed his gratitude for being given another opportunity to represent the NDC in the parliamentary election.

 

Hon. Kuyon urged the people of Krachi Nchumuru to vote for him and former President John Dramani Mahama, promising to focus on key developmental projects that would uplift the constituency.

He highlighted the lack of essential infrastructure and services, including roads, water supply, electricity, educational facilities, and job opportunities.

Hon. Kuyon further criticized the current government, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, accusing them of plunging the country into economic hardship.

He rallied his supporters, saying, “We will win this election together. It’s time to rescue this country from the wrong hands.”

Present at the event were the Regional Vice Chairman, Hon. Kofi Kpebu (also known as Kofi Drug Store), Constituency Chairman Nana Nyurekyor Mambo II, and a vibrant float consisting of Rhino cargo trucks, motor tricycles, motorcycles, and a brass band, adding colour and energy to the occasion.
