In an interview with Ohene Boamah Bennie on the “GUMBE SHOW” on TV XYZ, Captain Akamba as he is affectionately called reiterated the view that Ghanaians are yearning for the grand return of the NDC and this can only be achieved if there is no acrimony, infighting, apathy among party members. He emphasized the point that the current economic hardships that are being experienced by Ghanaians is a clear indication that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has woefully failed the country.

He admonished party faithfuls and all Executives to be united because the common enemy is the NPP.
