2024 Polls: Akufo-Addo has proven that Mahama is the Saviour to reset the Country – Ghanaians
One journalist, who gave his name only as Asare, indicated that he was happy to hear from Mahama during his “Meet the Press” that his return would see the completion of all projects he started, including all the unfinished projects of the NPP.
Ghana is preparing for the 2024 elections. The economic challenges and hardships in the country have compelled most Ghanaians to proclaim that the return of former President John Dramani Mahama to power in 2025 is imminent.
newsalertgh.com sought the opinions of some Ghanaians going into the 2024 elections. The majority disclosed that the return of John Mahama is inevitable and divine with a call for him to rescue Ghana from the clueless governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), which has brought suffering and hardships to the country.
The interview, which centred on the comparison between the NDC and NPP in terms of economic management, revealed that many believe the bad governance witnessed under the current administration, led by Akufo-Addo and his inexperienced mate Dr Bawumia, has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that John Mahama is indeed the saviour to reset the country from its current state of economic woes.
Some argued that God has surely ordained John Mahama’s second coming to rescue Ghana from suffering and economic distress.
One journalist, who gave his name only as Asare, indicated that he was happy to hear from Mahama during his “Meet the Press” that his return would see the completion of all projects he started, including all the unfinished projects of the NPP.
The youth, responding to questions on how they think the next NDC government would address the increasing unemployment rate in the country, said they are optimistic that Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy would tackle youth unemployment, which remains a serious issue under President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s administration.
Mahama’s 24-hour economy plan stands as the centrepiece of his re-election campaign, aiming to stimulate economic growth and effective job creation for the unemployed youth.
Former President John Mahama has indicated that his determination to implement the policy is largely driven by the increasingly dire situation arising from the lack of employment opportunities for Ghana’s vibrant youth.
John Mahama’s 24-hour economy extends beyond a mere night economy, envisioning an economy where all business sectors operate a three-shift system around the clock, all days of the week, within a secure and safe environment.
The policy’s core objective is to create innumerable sustainable, reliable, and permanent jobs for the youth. It is a sound and welcoming policy.
Meanwhile, the rank and file of the party have been admonished to prioritize the NDC’s interests in the upcoming 2024 elections and remain vigilant against any attempts to thwart the divine will through electoral manipulation.
The party has urged its members to be alert, committed, and resilient in all efforts to ensure Mahama secures a resounding victory.
