GPL: The stats after 100 games

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season reached 100 games on Tuesday when Great Olympics welcomed King Faisal to the Accra Sports Stadium for the first match of matchday 12.

Olympics won the match in a typically bullish fashion, beating the Kumasi-based club 3-1 to move up to second in the table.

A century of games is an impressive achievement considering we are not in normal times due to the coronavirus pandemic.

36 games have ended in stalemates. Elmina Sharks have been involved in the most drawn games (6).

Great Olympics 3-1 win over King Faisal on Tuesday took the home wins tally to 50. No team has won more wins than Karela United. They have a perfect record of 6 wins in 6 games.
