The camp of aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, John Dumelo has issued a warning to the camp of their opponent, Lydia Alhassan, threatening to fight back all attempts of violence and intimation.

The caution follows Dumelo’s heated confrontation with a man in a viral video at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon voters registration centre on Monday May 27, 2024.

According to his spokesperson, the near-fisticuff confrontation was provoked by constant attacks on the actor at the centre by supporters of Lydia- the incumbent MP for the area.
