Chief Donates To Akokoaso SHS, Headmistress Goes Nuts

The Headmistress of Akyem Akokoaso SHS (AKSTECH), Mrs. Georgina Akoto Nsiah, has praised the newly installed King Of Akyem Akokoaso, Nana Asare Bediako Ababio lll, for always responding promptly whenever the school calls for help. She said the kindhearted chief donated fifteen thousand Ghana Cedis which was shared equally among the fifteen best-performing students of Akyem Akokoaso SHS to motivate them and other learners to study hard and shun laziness.

Mrs. Georgina Akoto Nsiah called on the government, through the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service, to support Akokoaso Senior High School with teaching and learning materials (TLMs), dining hall, assembly hall, school water system, staff bungalows, boys and girls dormitories as done for other second cycle schools in the country. She also appealed for benevolent support to construct a fence wall around the school to improve the security of students and staff.

She said all these during the 40th-anniversary celebration of Akokoaso SHS (AKSTECH@40) on Saturday, 6th July 2024 in the Akyemansa District in the Eastern Region Of Ghana.

The school was established in 1984 by upgrading the existing Experimental Junior High School which started in 1979. The school serves several communities in the region. It offers five programs: Agriculture, Business, Technical, Home Economics, and General Arts.
