Renowned Ghanaian filmmaker and political commentator, Socrate Safo, has issued a candid piece of advice to Rex Omar and fellow National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters. Safo’s remarks come in response to a picture of Rex Omar taken during the NDC’s grand campaign launch on Saturday, ahead of the 2024 general elections.
In his Facebook post, Safo expressed empathy towards Omar’s current state, reflecting on his own past experiences. He noted the mixed emotions and thoughts that often accompany such pivotal moments in a political campaign. Safo humorously pointed out a determined individual in the background of the picture, suggesting that Ghanaians might continue to favor the New Patriotic Party (NPP) due to their accomplishments in Free SHS and the digitalization of the economy.
