Mixed reactions from Ghanaians over Dr. Bawumia’s 2024 campaign manifesto

Dr Bawumia has made tons of promises to the people of Ghana when he is voted into power as president cum December 2024.

Some Ghanaians have reacted differently to the 2024 campaign manifesto of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

The official manifesto launch of the NPP was held on August 18, 2024, in Takoradi in the Western Region.

Dr Bawumia has made tons of promises to the people of Ghana when he is voted into power as president cum December 2024.

His promises include abolishing the electronic levy, betting taxes, and other takes that have burdened Ghanaians.

He also assured that he would initiate processes to have metropolitan, municipal and district chief executives( MMDCEs) elected, create 2.3 million jobs for Ghanaians and deal with corruption through digitization among other promises.

These promises by Dr. Bawumia have triggered some reactions online by social media users.

As some have applauded him and thrown their support behind the NPP flag bearer, others have discredited him describing his promises as lies.
