Former Crystal Palace player, Jordan Ayew says he is pleased and proud to join Premier League side Leicester City Football Club.

The deal is worth an initial £5m and can rise to £8m if £3m add-ons are added.

During an interview, Jordan Ayew stated that he took the decision to move to Leicester because he thought Leiscester is a big club.

According to him, the team has to fight together and perform well for the club to achieve its goal.

“When you hear the Manager wants you, you just want to come and work under him and improve as well. I’m really, really pleased to be here. I made the decision to come to Leicester because I think that Leiscester is a big club, so nothing is going to be easy, we will have to fight as a team. You have to make sure that we give good performances. And that is what we are going to do.” Jordan Ayew said.

“It happened quickly, and so the important thing is that I’m here and I am ready to start.” The 32-year-old player added.

He used the opportunity and thanked everyone who contributed to his successful move to Leicester City.

“Hopefully, we have a great season all together with the fans. And I’m really really confident that this year will be a good year……….Very, very happy to be here. Proud, I want to thank the club, and of course, the Manager, the CEO, the Chairman. Everyone because they fought hard to bring me to this Football Club, and yes, I’m really really pleased to be here.” Ayew emphasized.
