Renowned Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has been honoured with a prestigious Gold Creator Award by YouTube to mark his remarkable achievement of surpassing one million subscribers on the platform.

In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale’s manager, Sammy Flex, revealed that the artiste had humbly kept the award under wraps, despite receiving it some time ago, and took the opportunity to celebrate this milestone and express gratitude for the support.

“This is for Shatta Wale’s YouTube page for clocking one million subscribers. My man has been hiding it somewhere in his room until I went to his apartment last weekend. Congratulations to all Shatta Movement fans globally for making this happen and kudos to our boss Shatta Wale for always working harder than even expected. The works bring the results we always enjoy,” he wrote on Facebook.

The artiste is set to release his much-anticipated SAFA album on September 20, 2024. The album has already garnered some traction as popular singles like ‘Killa Ji Mi’, ‘Minamino Sin’, and ‘Blessing’ (featuring Amerado) are already generating significant buzz and airplay.
